Gradale has been located in the heart of Rosedale for ten years where we have been offering students an academically enriched program with smaller class sizes.

Recently we have had the unique opportunity to offer students a second location. Gradale Academy is pushing education outside of the traditional classroom and is able to employ explorative teaching methods at Evergreen Brick Works.

Gradale will offer students a new learning environment in a natural oasis, located in central Toronto. It's just a nature trail away from their permanent location at Rosedale United Church. Unlike any other school in the G.T.A. Gradale's access to the forest-like setting offers unique outdoor learning opportunities and will foster an appreciation for nature. Gradale’s educational approach is rare for a city school and will instill behavioral habits in students ensuring educational success for their future.

Further to creating a growing appreciation for the outdoors, Gradale’s new facility will also benefit students from an academic perspective. Research has proven that learning in an environment surrounded by nature can increase:

1) an appreciation for the environment
2) result in better grades, and
3) aid with development issues such as ADHD.
